On the plan today was an intresting AAR, but we decided otherwise and now I want to give you a small insight today into our dev team.

We are currently a group of 3 people fixed for the actual development process, plus a attached groups of freelancers, community contributers and supporters of around 20, piling up the involvement to this day at roughly around ~25 people.

Today is also a good day. We have released the 0.99 subVersion and are heading towards the last remaining issues and steps.

As our dev team is scattered completly around the globe, we had to find a project system in the beginning that allows
us to effectivly work on the game, even when in different time zones. We came luckily to find a project managment software
with a build-in SVN system, allowing everybody to have the current subVersion on his machine.

As you may recognize on the attached screens below, we breaked in the last couple of days through the 600+ revision mark and are now more then optimistic that we will provide you with a good gaming expierience when AOD finally hits the stores.

In my personal opinion i think, when you create an expansion to an already existing "base" you tend to forget how that original game played. This is partly because I always tested the current subVersion and looked constantly forward to a continuing improvement. As i played yesterday original Arma after ~year of pure AOD, i was honestly shocked how much we really changed, and how few we were able to cover in the diaries so far.

We have lots of Very useful and small improvements intergrated that optimize the feel of the game but are hard to take screens of or even describe it in detail. E.g. the underlying concept of the GUI has been changed in a Very efficient way - in terms of handling masses of V1 or V2 rockets : it is now extremly simplified.

Or in arranging/selecting/ordering multiple navies or fighter corps, we have tended to optimize the control e.g. in regards to former maximum range problems.

At the moment we look forward to get the community Translations/TechTeams/Ministers ready, polish the game and fix the remaining bugs who occured in the process of implementing all the new feats.
